Women entrepreneurs as a driver for social transformation
True to its commitment to foster women entrepreneurship, Barcelona Activa presents the panel discussion “Asian women in Barcelona: Entrepreneurship and social transformation”, organized by Casa Asia.
Moderated by Gaëlle Patin Laloy, head of the Diversity and Intercultural program of the organization, the round table presents five women from Asia who will share their personal experience, their leadership position and their innovative entrepreneurial projects, some of which with a positive changing impact on our society.
For example, Sonia Nar, from India, nurse and in charge of the social theatre project “Ekta chHimmat”, formed by Punjabi women from Badalona. Another member of this theatre group, Harjit Kaur, will also be present to share her personal and professional experience as an Indian expat in Barcelona.
Alongside them, we find Kav Ly, from Cambodia, president and head of R & D in the gastronomic company Ta-Tung, which has more than 30 years of experience bringing closer the Asian cuisine to Barcelona. Another guest speaker is Lilin Yang, from China, director and founder of the beauty store Miin Korean Cosmetic, the first in Spain specialized in the innovative Korean beauty products. Last but nos least, we’ll be able to listen to Kangyun Xiao, Chinese lawyer and founder of the firm Granvia Iuris & Consulting SLPO who’s specialized in immigration.
